Is there a dress code?

Dress warm as it might be chilly! Only rule: NO BALL CAPS. You're better than that.

Do you have a gift registry?

We’ve been together for nine wonderful years and already have everything we need—your presence at our wedding is truly the best gift. If you insist on bringing something extra, a contribution to our honeymoon fund would be warmly appreciated.

Are my children invited? Can I bring a guest?

The names listed on your RSVP are the guests invited. Due to limited space at our venue, we’re unable to accommodate additional people—thank you for understanding.

We will be exchanging our vows in a private ceremony. If you’d like to see photos, we’ll happily share them once we receive them from our photographer!

We've reserved a block of rooms at a reduced rate. To take advantage of this, you can call the hotel directly to reserve your room, and use the code above when booking. The code will not work when booking online. Keep in mind, there is a limited number of rooms reserved at this reduced rate.

Elkwater Lake Lodge & Resort

Do you need a ride to and from Elkwater?

We don’t want any of our guests driving after drinking. If enough people would like rides to and from Elkwater, we’ll hire a shuttle with a single centralized pickup and drop-off point in Medicine Hat for guests who prefer not to book a hotel but still want to join the celebration. The bus will leave Medicine Hat with time to arrive for cocktails and will depart Elkwater before the night ends. Please indicate your transportation needs on your RSVP so we can confirm numbers; we’ll post pickup times and the exact location here once arrangements are finalized.
